Chess Ukraine

The Chess Ukraine project supports promoting the all-round development of chess in Ukraine, in particular, facilitating the establishment and functioning of chess clubs, schools and groups, providing consulting and charitable support, chess equipment, educational literature, organising events and training sessions, etc. Within the framework of the project, the Chess for Children Foundation can act as an organiser, co-organiser or sponsor of children’s competitions in Ukraine, in particular, providing gifts and prizes to the winners of children competitions at both national and regional levels. The project includes cooperation with regional centres for the development of children chess, support for the established network of contacts of clubs and chess centres in Ukraine, and information campaigns to raise the status of the game of chess and the important role of a chess coach and manager in social processes.
